III International Bolgar readings «TRADITIONS AND RENOVATION OF THEOLOGICAL LEGACY»

The Bulgarian Islamic Academy, with the support of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Kazan Federal University and with the assistance of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, is invited to participate in an international scientific and practical conference III International Bulgarian Readings “TRADITIONS AND UPDATING IN THE THEOLOGICAL HERITAGE”, which th will be held in the framework of the I International Forum “The theological heritage of the Muslims of Russia” on the basis of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy (Bulgarians, ul. Kul Gali, d. 1) from 13 to 15 October 2019
The conference is held as part of the federal project for the training of specialists with in-depth knowledge of the history and culture of Islam.

The main directions of the Conference:
The development of Islamic theological thought: a traditional vector and updating approaches;
Traditions, reforms and renovation trends in the global and Russian Muslim community;
The intellectual tradition of Russian Islam in the comparative aspect of Eastern ideas and practices. The methodology of the main comparative studies in the light of modern challenges and trends;
Tradition as a sustainable component in the context of social thought, religious life and culture in the context of globalization;
Problems of identifying, collecting, storing and describing samples of the written heritage of the Muslim peoples of Russia as an actual direction of the humanities
Within the framework of the Bulgarian readings of 2019, a round table is planned: “On the 160th anniversary of Rizaeddin Fakhreddin: traditional and new approaches to studying the heritage of Muslim theologians and religious figures of Russia.”
Religious figures, Islamic scholars, theologians, religious scholars, historians, archaeographers, cultural experts, other specialists and representatives of scientific and educational organizations are invited to participate in the conference.
You can participate in the following forms:
full-time: oral presentation, poster presentation, participation in discussion of reports, discussions;
correspondence: publication of a scientific article.
Participants in scientific events will be provided with simultaneous translation into the working languages of the Conference, as well as with the necessary technical support of the presentations.
Participation in scientific events of the Conference is free. All expenses for travel, accommodation and meals of participants whose applications are approved by the Organizing Committee will be borne by the organizers.
Conference working languages: Russian, Tatar, Arabic and English.
Participation in the conference
Participants and guests of the event will be able to get acquainted with the activities of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy, as well as visit the Bulgarian Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve – the northernmost monument of medieval Muslim architecture in the world, a unique example of Bulgarian-Tatar architecture from the middle of the XIII-XIV centuries.

Text of the report up to 0.25 printed pages (10,000 characters)
The text must be typed in Microsoft Word (6.0; 7.0; 8.0; XP), font size – 14 size, Times New Roman headset, single spacing, format – rtf. Fields – everywhere 2.5 cm. Alignment – in width. Headings should be in bold, in capital letters, centered, name must be indicated in italics in the upper right corner. All footnotes are paginated, the numbering of links is end-to-end. The text of the article should be structured into sections, annotations in English and Russian (volume 100-150 words) with an indication of keywords (5-7 words) should be carefully verified. The structure of the full text of the manuscript devoted to the description of the results of original research should correspond to the generally accepted template and contain sections: introduction (relevance), purpose, materials and methods, results, conclusions, discussion (discussion). In the bibliography, each source should be placed on a new line under a serial number. In the text of the article, references to sources are given in square brackets in Arabic numerals. The format of the bibliography should comply with U.S. requirements and standards. National Information Standards Organization NISO Z39.29-2005 [R2010]), which will provide further indexing of articles in international databases. When linking to journal articles (the most common source of information for citation), you should adhere to the template: Author A.A., Co-author B. B. Article title. The name of the magazine. Year; Volume (Number): pp. 56–66.
Conference proceedings will be published as independent collections of reports and articles, which will be available on the Forum website.
